9/5/11 From Nena: "I have always loved the care we receive at GNWAH, but found a new appreciation for them when my friends and family outside of TX started complaining about their vets. At GNWAH they make you feel like part of the family! They remember your name, they remember what care your pet has received without having to use a chart for reference, and they always call to check on your pet the day after procedures or shots. The entire crew is dedicated to offering the best care available, and it REALLY makes a difference when your pet is treated like a member of the family instead of just an "animal" or a page in a file. We have refered people to GNWAH who are equally as impressed, and I can assure you I would not ask friends to trust them if I did not have complete confidence in them myself. On a side note: the other day I asked them about a new flea prevention drug I had heard about and they had already researched it themselves. These doctors keep up with the times! Just one more thing to love about them."

9/5/11 From Dale:" Found an injured stray cat in my backyard and took her to GNWAH... turns out she was pregnant and we went from no cats to 5 cats practically overnight; then found 4 abandoned kittens and suddenly there were NINE! We were struggling financially at the time but wanted to do right by the little babies, so Dr. Johnson and Dr. Metzler found ways to keep the costs down while still giving them the necessary shots and tests required until we could find homes for them. They even offer a military discount which has helped tremendously. We ended up keeping the mommy and one baby, and I am thrilled to say that they are healthy and happy thanks to the wonderful care they received during a critical time in their lives."
